Record-Breaking Investments in 2024 In 2024, Irish technology SMEs secured a historic €1.48 billion in venture capital funding, marking a 9% increase from the previous year. This growth was notably driven by substantial investments in the fourth quarter, which alone accounted for €535 million—a 162% rise compared to the same period in 2023.

Dublin played a pivotal role in this success, with 183 companies raising €645 million, representing approximately 60% of the startups fundraising and two-thirds of the total investment value in 2025.
